I am a Community Governor at Coleridge and joined the Governing Body in June 2016.
My career has been in education, mainly working on various aspects of the curriculum and qualifications system for the 14 – 19 age range. I worked for sixteen years for OCR in Cambridge (part of Cambridge Assessment), latterly as its Director of Policy. More recently, I worked for the Government’s Examinations Regulator (QCA) and its successor body (QCDA) managing a variety of projects. Since 2010 I have been a freelance educational consultant, contributing to a wide variety of UK and international projects focused on qualification development and training of teachers.
I am Vice-Chair of a small educational charity (The Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors).
I have lived in Cambridge since 1987.
